Ameeta has a proven track record of driving breakthrough expansion for B2B, B2B2C, and B2G companies. She has extensive experience with strategy, product, marketing, and business development across large multinationals, private equity and venture capital-backed companies. Her expertise spans diverse sectors, including SaaS, cybersecurity, internet, mobile, digital health, energy IT, sensors, consumer products, and tech-enabled services. Additionally, Ameeta has founded technology companies, played a crucial role in developing new products and markets, and facilitated funding and IPOs, generating billions of dollars for stakeholders.
She has served as Chief Marketing Officer at engage2learn, PlatformQ Health and VFA. VFA was acquired by a PE-backed firm and is now part of Fortive. She is interim Chief Marketing Officer at Everfox and has also held similar roles at Dover Digital, Carbon Relay, WorldAPP, DocASAP, and Assemble Systems. Previously, she co-founded digital health company FitTrace and established Aanza AutoID Group, an RFID services provider, and Aanza, a product lifecycle management software company. Earlier in her career, she held strategy, product marketing/management, and business development positions at ChannelWave Software, Colorcode, Computer Identics, BOC Group, Genus/Ionex, and Varian Associates.
Ameeta is a member of the supervisory board of publicly held Esker (ENXTPA: ALESK), a global leader in AI-driven process automation for finance, procurement and customer service functions. She serves on the investment committee of the Maroon Venture Partners Fund and has held board roles with portfolio companies HomeBinder (acquired by iGo), Ompractice, and TOP the organic project. She has also served on the board of PlumChoice, Inc., MIT Enterprise Forum Cambridge (Chair), Technology Capital Network, and The Boston Club.
Ameeta is a TiE Boston charter member and has mentored many technology entrepreneurs through MIT Venture Mentoring Service, Massachusetts Innovation Network, M2D2 Impact, Techstars, LearnLaunch, Springboard, MassChallenge, and VietChallenge accelerators.
Ameeta has also helped several non-profit organizations with strategy, fundraising, and governance. She serves on the Chancellor’s Campus Council at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Previously, she served as a board director at The Boston Club and MAB Community Services, overseer at the Museum of Science, Boston, an advisory board member at the College of Natural Sciences at UMass Amherst, and a member of the Patron Committee at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Ameeta is a frequent blogger and speaker on strategy, products, marketing, digital innovation, and the applications and challenges of AI. She earned her MBA from the University of Chicago, her MS in Polymer Science & Engineering from UMass Amherst, and her Bachelor of Science with honors in Chemistry from St. Stephen’s College.
